Dang Beth has officially become a b**** by the end of this episode! But honestly she needs help and a wake up call and I have a feeling it’s on the way.
Anyways, the episode starts with Beth driving with Benny to NYC. Something I’ve noticed is that Benny literally does not talk about anything besides chess. Like it is legitimately his LIFE — he lives, breathes, and eats chess. Benny has a spacious little place that could use a bit of color. They spend the next day or so practicing chess and then he invites some of his friends over. Surprise — they also play chess. The only one who doesn’t know how to play is Cleo who is a French girl that models. She likes to talk about how models are talentless and definitely has some ingrained sexism in her beliefs. I was feeling some major attraction between Cleo and Beth, like they were intrigued by each other. Naturally Benny challenges Beth to some simultaneous chess, and Beth requests that it be speed rounds. Now if we remember a couple episodes ago, Benny completely crushed Beth at speed chess. However this time, she beat them all multiple times!! Someone has been practicing. I guess Benny is turned on by this because they slept together despite him shooting that idea down before.
